Unnatural Contradictions is a film study by Company SBB // Stefanie Batten Bland. A conversational promenade of composition and contradictions found between the Brooklyn Botanical Garden’s Osborne and Woodland blossoms and human-caused extinction. Seen from the point of view of a garden visitor who happens upon summer performance, the three installation solos with Jennifer Payán, Yeman Brown and SBB herself will pay homage to Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd. Costumes by Shane Ballard. Music is by long term collaborator, composer Paul Damian Hogan.
